Library Grace Period

 

THERE IS A THREE DAY GRACE PERIOD FOR OVERDUE BOOKS. This means that a book returned up to three days late will not be assessed a fine. HOWEVER, BOOKS RETURNED FOUR OR MORE DAYS LATE WILL BE CHARGED STARTING FROM THE FIRST DAY OVERDUE. If you discuss the Grace Period with a patron, please be sure to make this clear – books four or more days late will be charged overdue fines starting from the first day late.

NOTE : The grace period does NOT apply to recalled books. Overdue recalled books are charged from the first day late.
